Jamal's journey: From unsure to unstoppable
When Jamal first connected with UpNext Movement, he was quiet, closed off, and often getting into trouble at school. He didn’t really believe anyone cared what he could become, and he was starting to fall behind both in class and in confidence.
Through consistent mentorship, encouragement, and being around positive role models, something started to change. Jamal began showing up more, participating in activities, and slowly opening up.
